123insight Training

About the courses

  • All courses are held at your dedicated 123insight Cybagetraining centre in Pune
  • You will be given exclusive use of your own 123insight computer in order to complete all of the training exercises. You will also be provided with your own comprehensive training manual which is yours to keep
    Lunch and refreshments will be provided, along with internet and wireless internet access should you require it. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements
  • Each course is charged at R 9500 per day, per person

For all companies undertaking their 123insight 'no-obligation' training programme, the key members of your implementation team (your project manager and your system champions in your key functional areas) should attend the 6-day core training programme as detailed below. This will give your key people a complete overview of how 123insight will impact your company's operations.

For all companies who already use 123insight, the core courses now offer an ideal opportunity to increase your users knowledge in their key areas. The four courses all effectively "standalone" and therefore it is easy to match your staff to their appropriate course(s). Even for those users who have attended the previous training programmes, these courses offer an ideal opportunity for a focused "refresher".

Course Content Prerequisites

(1 day)

The creation and maintenance of parts, bills of materials and routings. The handling of up-issue, design change, mass change, obsolescence management.


(2 days)

Creation and maintenance of customers and suppliers. From a sales viewpoint we cover Price lists, quotations, sales order, and despatch. From a purchasing viewpoint we cover Cost lists, invitation to tender, requisitions, purchase orders, purchase order approval, goods-in.


and MRP
(2 days)

Management of all the production and supply chain processes. Covering basic MRP functionality, capacity planning, works orders, labour bookings, shop floor data collection.

Prior attendance of both the Engineering course and Commercial course is strongly recommended.

System Admin
and Finance
(1 day)

Covering the key system administration functions of 123insight (setting up users, assigning security, amending basic layouts of key documents like sales invoices). This element of the course is not highly technical and does not cover any SQL/Windows functionality - it is completely contained to 123insight functionality.

The Finance elements cover how costing works (including financial reports like stock valuation, WIP valuation, cost of sales, GRNI). Also covers linking with Sage or Pegasus and integrating with Access Dimensions.


123insight Version Update programme

Course Content Prerequisites


As an established user of 123insight, this course is aimed at your key members of staff from your original implementation team who are about to embark on a major upgrade e.g. Version 8 to Version 9. A new major version is normally released every 18 months or so, which is why you need this course. You will cover all the new features of the major release and you'll be given the opportunity to try the new features in a training environment. Your new version of 123insight will be available to you upon completion of the course.

As a starting point, we recommend that you send a minimum of two staff members from your company to ensure that the knowledge is effectively dispersed throughout your business.

However, for a system with over 10 licences and as a good rule of thumb, one extra person should attend this training for every 5 licences of 123insight. Training concessions apply for 3 or more delegates. First two delegates are at standard training rate and third delegate attracts a 25% reduction, with four or more delegates attracting a 50% reduction.

You should have attended the complete package of training, i.e. all days of the "Core Training Programme" on the previous version of 123insight
